At Reclaim Personal Development Inc. we understand that there are many ways to acquire information and our workshops reflect this. Not only is our curriculum emotionally based, the most effective form of learning, it includes much laughter, the second most effective form of learning and pictures to stimulate memory.

Participants are given opportunity to work in small groups, triads and alone with the newly acquired information. It has been proven that the sooner new information can be put into action the more likely it will be remembered. Many of the skills that are taught are foundational daily skills therefore the more familiar participants can become with the new skills the more likely they will be to succeed after the workshops and on into the online forum.

Mentoring, by means of the online forum, is a unique way for Reclaim coaches to continue their relationship with participants. The forum allows participants to have a support system with others who have also taken the course. The forum is open only to those women who have participated in the workshops. Continuous monitoring of the site by Reclaim staff ensures that the participants will have a positive and safe place to share their journey with others.

It is also important for participants to be able to relate experiences to the coaches. Therefore our coaches are women of courage who have overcome adversity in their lives and are now living healthy, productive lives and contributing to the community by means of volunteering in a venue of their choice.
